We’ve just been informed about a number of events are taking place at the neighbouring Evangelische Methodistische Kirche in Promenadengasse in the coming days. If you’re a German speaker and are interested in participating at events at the church please read on.

A ‘Glaubenskurs’ (Belief course) in 3 parts starts tomorrow, 22nd May at 10.30 and continues until Monday 24th. The course is in German and led by Pfarrer Stephan Johanus. Full information and details of how to register can be found here:

Then on Monday 24th May, starting at 10.30 singer-songwriter Toby Meyer https://www.toby-meyer.ch will be giving a concert ‘Mine Geschicht mit Gott!’ Places are limited (50 seats), please contact stephan.johanus@emk-schweiz.ch to register.

Finally on Friday 28th May from 18.00 onwards, as part of the ‘Lange Nacht der Kirchen’ Programme for 2021: https://langenachtderkirchen.ch/de/veranstaltungen Bible stories will be read and performed in conjunction with a Kamishibai-Schablonen Theater (Japanese paper theatre) and music. This is something for children (and all those who are young at heart!).

Places are limited at all these events so please register soon if you’d like to attend. Pfarrer Stephan Johanus (email above) will be able to answer any questions you have about these events.

Wishing you a pleasant Pentecost weekend.
