St Andrew’s Church is situated near the centre of Zurich just 2 minutes’ walk from the Kunsthaus.
The entrance to the Community Centre is on Promenadengasse itself.
The main entrance to the church is on the upper level, reached either via the drive into a restricted traffic zone or the broad flight of steps.
There are some on-street parking spaces available on Promenadengasse, but they are extremely limited.
WHENEVER POSSIBLE PLEASE USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO GET TO ST ANDREW’S.
By public transport:
By tram/bus – Take tram No. 3,5,9 or trolleybus No. 31 to Kunsthaus, then walk along Zeltweg and up Wettingerwies to reach Promenadengasse on the left. St Andrew’s is on the right about half way along.
By rail/S-Bahn:
Zurich Stadelhofen railway station is a 5 minute walk from the church. From platform 1 cross the pedestrian bridge over the rail line and then take the steps in front of you. Once on the road (Schanzengasse) follow it to the right, uphill to Villa Falkenstein, and then descend to take the first road on the left (Promenadengasse). From there the church is directly in front of you on the left side.
By car:
Please note that parking is extremely limited, both at the church and on the surrounding streets. The closest public car park is Parkhaus Hohe Promenade, an underground car park on the right as you go up Rämistrasse towards the Kunsthaus.
