St Andrew’s Chaplaincy in Zurich
We are an English speaking church covering Zurich and the north-east of Switzerland including Baden, St Gallen and Zug. We represent the Diocese in Europe, part of the Church of England and we belong to the worldwide Anglican Communion of Churches.
We hold two services every Sunday in English at our main church in Zurich
- 09:00 – a said Holy Communion using traditional language from Common Worship
- 10:30 – a sung Holy Communion using modern language from Common Worship
We also offer other services across the chaplaincy and on other day as shown in the Calendar of Services
Welcome
We are friendly and inclusive and welcome all ages, cultures, nationalities and denominations at our services. We are an active and growing community, developing in faith and offer pastoral care to all.
If you are visiting us on holiday, at the university as a student or just moved to Zurich for work you can be sure of a warm welcome. Please introduce yourself to the ushers/sidespeople or clergy at the door when you arrive!
We welcome children in our services ( and their families) and we have a special creche area under the hymn board at the front of church. We also value music in our worship and have a fully robed SATB church choir as well as a junior choir.
