We are an English-speaking church in the Zurich area of Switzerland, belonging to the worldwide Anglican/Episcopal Communion of Churches. We are part of the Church of England Diocese in Europe.
We welcome people of all cultures, nationalities and denominations to worship with us. If you are looking for a community of faith where you can join others in worship and service, then you are at the right place.
More information about our activities, such as our Choir, Childrens’ activity, Youth Group, bible study groups, handicrafts group and our fellowship group for older people can also be found on our Way to Engage page
The Revd. Paul Brice
At St Andrew’s we endeavour to be a part of God’s work in, with, and through the local English-speaking community. We minister to all ages, helping them to grow in faith and live it out in the world. People from all over the globe have made St Andrew’s their church family and we aim to be a welcoming community for all who enter our doors. (We are one in spirit even if having to distance.)
Please consider this an open invitation to join us!

Worship with us
We are supporting people in their worship at home, whilst they may not be able to attend physical church services.
We are also offering a weekly Sunday worship service in church, as well as a weekly outdoor Eucharist on Wednesday mornings. Because of Covid social distancing regulations, spaces are limited and we ask people attending church to please register in advance.
More information can be found by following the links at the top of our Prayer and Worship page.
Choir & Music
The choir of St Andrew’s Zurich is a robed, SATB, volunteer choir. We sing at the Sunday services from September to June, as well as a monthly weekday Choral Evensong. (Choir practices are normally on Thursdays from 6.30 to 8.30pm during the choir season.) We rehearse in English.
Our Choirmaster is always pleased to meet prospective singers throughout the year. The ability to read music is essential, and some choral experience is desirable. If you are interested in singing with us, please do get in touch!
Email our Choirmaster: firstname.lastname@example.org
We welcome visitors and are always very happy to involve more people in our activities.
St Andrew’s has enthusiastic children, aged 3-12 years, also meeting on Sunday mornings, during service times.
Click here for more information. In the current situation we are looking after children (2-9yrs) in Kids Corner during the Sunday Service.
Our Youth Group, for those 13 and upwards, meets during school term time on Friday evenings (currently online). We usually start with a short prayer and devotional before getting down to the serious business of activities including games nights, bake-off challenges, scavenger hunts, bowling or evenings out in the city.

Safeguarding, or the action the Church takes to promote a safer culture in all our churches, is at the heart of our Christian faith. A Safeguarding Policy and Protocol has been in place within the Diocese in Europe since December 2015.
All clergy and Readers within the Church of England have Safeguarding training and need record check clearance certificates as a normal part of their ministry. Our lay volunteers who work with young people and vulnerable adults also go through the safeguarding process.
