“You are my God and I will praise you!”

As we observed the beginning of Holy Week at St Andrew’s on Sunday, we were very grateful to the Zurich authorities for making it possible for us to walk around the church for our Procession of Palms. The buildings works will continue for some months yet, so if you are planning to attend any of the services this week, or our Good Friday concert, please do travel by public transport wherever possible.

Music for this Holy Week includes the service of Choral Evensong at 7pm tonight, as well as our Maundy Thursday service, featuring meditative Taizé chants. Don’t forget our Good Friday concert featuring poems by Robert Herrick, GK Chesterton, John Donne and others. Music to include pieces by Purcell, Dowland, Stainer and more, including Bach’s ‘Erbarme dich’ from the St Matthew Passion.

Details of our services during Holy Week can be found via this link – We hope to see you soon!

If you weren’t able to make it to church on Sunday, here’s a small taster of the worship and fellowship that we enjoyed.
