The Bishop in Europe is pleased to announce that he has offered the post of Chaplain to St Andrew’s Church Zurich and the daughter communities in St Gallen, Turgi , and Zug, to the Revd Jackie Sellin, currently Assistant Chaplain in this Chaplaincy. Jackie has accepted this, though of course the offer is subject to her completing the usual formalities and transitioning into the role of Chaplain.
The Ven Dr Peter Hooper, Archdeacon of France and Switzerland, adds “this is really excellent news and almost brings to an end the process to find a new Chaplain for Zurich and the daughter communities.
I would particularly like to give thanks to those who have been part of this discernment process.
Thanks also to all who have worked so hard in keeping the mission and ministry activities of the Chaplaincy on-going during the vacancy. I would also ask that you hold Jackie and Mark in your prayers as they prepare for this change to their life here in Switzerland.”
Further information regarding a licensing date will be confirmed once all the formalities have been completed.
