Join our team!

We need a lot of hands before the event, and would love to hear from you if you’d like to get involved! If you have time and energy, and want to get involved please let us know. Many hands make light work!

  • Are you good at making crafts, cakes, biscuits, jams, marmalade or mincemeat?
  • Would you like to help on stalls selling jewellery, clothes, books or toys?
  • Can you organise and bring back English groceries from your trip to England?

…If the answer is yes, to any of these questions, please contact us – We’d love to hear from you!

Planning

Working with our planning team to make sure that all the arrangements are in place before the event

Advertising the event wherever possible

The day before the Bazaar

Helping to transport stuff from St Andrew’s to the Liebfrauenkirche

Helping prepare the rooms with Christmas decoration and setting up the stalls at the venue.

Saturday of the Bazaar

Every helping hand is needed to keep things running smoothly, perhaps by relieving stallholders for a short break, helping the catering team or by making coffee and washing up in the kitchen.

If you can make yourself available on Saturday and are willing to help, then please contact us.

Please help to stock our grocery stall!

The Bazaar Grocery Stall organisers are always grateful for the support of our congregation and friends of St. Andrew’s, who may be visiting the UK in the summer or autumn. We need various items for the Grocery Stall to help us meet the wishes of our loyal customers. Please spare us a thought and find a space, small or large, in your luggage for any typically British products such as:

Mint sauce, Paxo Stuffing, Branston Pickle, suet, treacle, golden syrup, Marmite, Bovril, Bird’s Custard Powder, dark and light muscovado sugar, Hartley’s Jelly, ginger biscuits, Cadbury’s Chocolates, Yorkshire tea bags, all spice, mixed spice, baking powder, vanilla essence, Colman’s Mustard, HP Sauce, or any other product you think would be appropriate.
New ideas are always welcome!
