Pfarreizentrum Liebfrauen, Zurich

It’s time to get ready….

Join our team!

We are looking forward to holding our traditional Christmas Bazaar again in November, at the Liebfrauenkirche near Central.
This will only work if we have a team of enthusiastic volunteers to plan and organise it. This is a great opportunity for the St Andrew’s community to come together and make this vital fund-raising day a joyful success!

If you have time and energy, and want to get involved please let us know. Many hands make light work!

Are you good at making crafts, cakes, biscuits, jams, marmalade or mincemeat? Would you like to help on stalls selling jewellery, clothes, books or toys? Can you organise and bring back English groceries from your trip to England, then please contact us as soon as you can, by sending an email to

Please help to stock our grocery stall!

The Bazaar Grocery Stall has the usual request to the congregation and friends of St. Andrew’s, who may be visiting the UK this summer or autumn. We need various items for the Grocery Stall to help us meet the wishes of our loyal customers. Please spare us a thought and find a space, small or large, in your luggage for any typically British products such as:

Mint sauce, Paxo Stuffing, Branston Pickle, suet, treacle, golden syrup, Marmite, Bovril, Birds custard powder, dark Muscovado suger, Hartleys jelly, Ginger biscuits, Cadburys chocolates, Yorkshire tea bags, All Spice, Mixed Spice, baking powder, vanilla essence, Colmans mustard, HP Sauce, or any other product you think would be appropriate.
New ideas are always welcome!

Please make sure that the sell-by date is at least over 3 months (preferably more) after the Bazaar. Please give your grocery items to Brigitte Smith or Ingrid Meredith who will reimburse your costs.
