Books

We are looking for English paperback novels in good, clean condition. For non-fiction books (cookbooks, history, etc.), hardbacks are welcome, as are children’s books in German and English. We’re unable to accept dictionaries, manuals, or schoolbooks.

Toys (non-electrical)

Please ensure toys are clean and in very good condition. We accept puzzles (make sure they are complete!), wooden toys, soft toys, dolls, LEGO, Playmobil, family games and more.

Bottle Stall

Have you unopened bottles such as shampoo, hairspray, olive oil, ketchup, soda or something stronger like beer, whiskey, prosecco or gin? We are grateful for any bottles you can give, whether they are from your pantry or bought specifically for the stall.
Expiry date at least 6 weeks after the bazaar date.

Jewellery

We welcome all jewellery, from valuable pieces to beautiful costume jewellery, as long as it is in excellent condition.

Portobello Market

We are looking for high-quality, antique, or vintage-style items. Please no plastic items or kitchen utensils.

British Groceries

If you have recently returned from the UK with British goods, we would be delighted to have them! Please contact us at bazaar@standrewszurich.church or place the items in the metal trunk in the storeroom. Leave the receipt with your name, and we’ll be happy to reimburse you.
Examples of typically British goods that Bazaar-goers seek out include mint sauce, Sharwood’s mango chutney, suet, treacle, golden syrup, Bovril, Bird’s custard powder, light and dark muscovado sugar, mixed spice, ginger biscuits, Hobnobs, Cadbury’s chocolate, fruit pastilles, Yorkshire tea bags, and lemon curd.
Please make sure that the sell-by date is at least over 3 months after the Bazaar.

Clothes, Shoes, and Accessories

We welcome clean clothes, shoes, bags, hats, ties, handbags, purses, wallets, belts, gloves and scarves in top-notch condition. No suitcases, please.

Cakes & Cookies

Cake bakers wanted!  Join our Bazaar baking team and bake your favourite delights for the cake stall! Please contact us at bazaar@standrewszurich.church for questions or to arrange drop-off times.

Catering for the Cafeteria

We need homemade sausage rolls, scones, quiches, sandwich fillings, and other goodies to serve to hungry Bazaar-goers! Please bring to the cafeteria or kitchen on the day (or on the Friday before if you are there setting up).
