How to Find us

St Andrew’s Church is situated near the centre of Zurich, just a 2 minute flat-ish walk from the Kunsthaus, or 7 minute uphill walk from Stadelhofen Station.
See below for directions.

There are some on-street parking spaces available on Promenadengasse, but their availability is extremely limited.
WHENEVER POSSIBLE PLEASE USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO GET TO ST ANDREW’S.

The main entrance to the church is accessible via the broad flight of steps in Promenadengasse (see photo); turn left at the top of the steps. You can also get here via the steep slope from Rämistrasse up to Kantonschule Hohe Promenade.

N.B. The entrances to both the Community Centre, and the Church Office are on Promenadengasse itself.

By tram/bus:
Take tram No. 3,5,9 or trolleybus No. 31 to Kunsthaus, then walk along Zeltweg and up Wettingerwies to reach Promenadengasse on the left.

By rail/S-Bahn:
Zurich Stadelhofen railway station is a 7 minute walk from the church. From platform, 1 cross the pedestrian bridge over the rail line and go up the steps in front of you. Once on the road (Schanzengasse) follow it to the right, uphill to Villa Falkenstein, then descend to take the first road on the left (Promenadengasse).

By car:
Parking is extremely limited on the surrounding streets.
St Andrew’s does not have any parking spaces of its own. The closest public car park is Parkhaus Hohe Promenade, an underground car park on the right as you go up Rämistrasse towards the Kunsthaus.
