We have now finalised the details in respect of the vacancy for our new Chaplain and it has been advertised in the 16th June edition of the Church Times:
https://jobs.churchtimes.co.uk/jobs/Full-time-Priest–in-Europe-jn11370
It will also soon be posted on the Diocesan website: https://www.europe.anglican.org/clergy-vacancies
The closing date for applications is the 31st July. The short-listing will be completed during August and the final candidates then invited to Zurich for a “discernment event”. This will take place on 25th and 26th September when the Bishop and Archdeacon will be visiting Zurich. In addition to meeting the Bishop and Archdeacon, the candidates will meet with representatives from all parts of our community, including the Daughter Communities. It will also give the candidates the opportunity to know and understand more about us, to ensure that this would be an appropriate move for them, as well as enabling us to make the right decision for our new Chaplain.
We hope that our new Chaplain will be able to take up the post as soon as possible after the discernment event, but this is, of course, subject to their personal circumstances as well as the time required to obtain the necessary work permits.
If you have any questions or comments relating to the recruitment, please contact the Churchwardens.
Ruth Bailey, Church Administrator
