Every year in October the choir makes a visit to the Predigerkirche in Zurich to sing Choral Evensong at their invitation.
We love to sing in that beautiful church with its outstanding acoustics, accompanied by the ‘Conacher Organ’ (an English organ originally built in 1886 for the Methodist church in Ingbirchworth).
This year, we’re singing the Canticles by Herbert Howells (1892-1983), his anthem ‘O pray for the peace of Jerusalem’, the Responses by Stephen Cleobury (1948–2019), and psalms and hymns.
