Celebrations to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee begin tomorrow. Here’s a reminder how we at St Andrew’s will be marking the occasion.
Please join us at our Jubilee Concert, sung by the choir of St Andrew’s, on Saturday, 4 June 2022 at 16:00.
Music will include the coronation anthems by Handel and Parry, as well as other favourites of the English choral tradition. After the concert, there will be a reception in the church garden. Entry is free (retiring collection).
On Sunday 5 June 2022 at 10:30 there will be a Festal Eucharist to celebrate the Day of Pentecost and the Jubilee. We are very pleased to welcome the University of Texas Trombone Choir who will be joining with our choir at this festive service.We look forward to welcoming you to St Andrew’s for these musical celebrations of a very special event.
