Solidarity with Ukraine Update

Many thanks to everybody who has donated goods and money to support the people of Ukraine. Your donations have been received with immense gratitude and are making a real difference!

We are working to ensure that donations are supplied to refugees in the Zurich area, as well as to people in need across Eastern Europe. In order to do this, we have a long list of items that we are collecting, which we are then sorting and sending on to several different organisations. We have also formed a local partnership, enabling us to provide support directly to people staying with host families in the Zurich area.

Things like toiletries, baby equipment, clothing, blankets, towels and household cleaning supplies will be needed for many months to come. We are also appealing for wool, knitting/crochet needles as well as embroidery and painting supplies, which have been requested by people who have arrived in Zurich, to occupy themselves whilst they wait to obtain permission to work.

Donations can be dropped off at the St Andrew’s Community Centre after the services on Sundays, and also between 09:00-14:00 on Wednesdays.

The situation is constantly changing, and an up-to-date list of items that we can pass on can be found on our dedicated webpage (Click here for details)

A big “thank you” from our team and from the organisations that we are working with – please keep your contributions coming!
