At some point in our lives, many of us find ourselves, or perhaps a loved one, confronted with a difficult health situation. We might suddenly be thrust into the role of a carer with all that entails or dealing with a diagnosis which brings life as we have known it to a halt. It’s at times like these that we really need a listening ear and a space where we can share our frustrations and concerns with others who understand what we are going through. Without the possibility to offload some of the burden, it can all become too much to bear.
Here at St Andrew’s, we would like to share some of that load by offering a welcoming space and a couple of hours on a regular basis where we can provide support and share our own experiences which might help each of us to find a way forward. If you feel this might be of interest to you or anyone you know within the English-speaking community, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
