A sunny Easter Day Celebration in the open air – it was wonderful.
Snow made a fresh, white table cloth as the service proceeded: we started with a clear table.

come rain or shine, wind and snow, we’re still praying for you

And we’ve had all of those weathers in the last few weeks!

Pictured at the top, an extremely wide take on our Easter Day celebration, in full glorious sunshine, outdoors for maximum attendance with increased safety.

Each Wednesday we celebrate Holy Communion in the garden and remember those on our church prayer list. Remarkably, we have managed to meet outside on Wednesdays throughout the winter. There was only one week, when we had to retreat indoors from driving rain: but very slight rain didn’t bother us. Admittedly, we had some fun coping with high winds on occasion and sometimes had to brush snowflakes off our order of service.
However, we still met to pray for the sick and those in need.

Prayers for you and your concerns

*If you have a prayer request, please do let me know. In these days of data sensitivity, we simply use Christian names in our public prayers for people who are sick, in hospital or bereaved or other requests. If someone has asked for special prayer, but not to be named out loud, I bring them to mind silently in prayers during our Wednesday services.
