You don’t have to be an experienced singer – everyone is welcome and everyone can have a go.

If you’ve missed singing hymns in church, here’s an opportunity to do that virtually with The Self-Isolation Choir. Eight absolutely banging hymns will be sung to the accompaniment of eight different organs and organists. Over the course of a 5 evenings from 25 to 30 March, you’ll learn and rehearse the hymns LIVE with Ralph Allwood and singers of the Rodolfus Choir. Then you’ll submit a recording of your voice (you’ll be taught exactly how to) and a recording of the eight hymns will be produced. At the end of April, you’ll all come together again to sing a live concert online!

BONUS: Ralph Allwood is going to direct the next Archdeaconry Choir Festival hosted by St Andrew’s so you’ll meet him in person in Zurich when that takes place next year!

Now who would pass up the opportunity to sing ‘All Creatures of our God and King’ with the organ of St Paul’s Cathedral blaring out behind you?
