Today we remember the glad tidings of comfort and joy at the birth of Christ.
To help celebrate, below is the link for a video made with some of our young members, with amusing nativity video clips by paperlesschristmas.
Many thanks to the children for reading and music-making, and to parents, who no doubt discovered that this kind of thing takes a whole lot longer than you think. (take no. 5….)
Do enjoy the children reading and video clips. It’s great.
Many thanks for all those who contributed behind the scenes.
The links are below.
There is accompanying activity for parents to use with their children.
Adults may enjoy the word search, too!
* Click here for the Word Search for each of the 7 story episodes
Parents will have to remove the answer sheets (!) before giving them to the children!
* Also here for your convenience, and quite extensive, is the pack of teacher’s resources for use in schools. If you are keen to explore the stories more creatively with your children, these notes would give some great ideas and talking points. (after all, there are 12 days of Christmas)
(With thanks to the crew who developed Paperlesschristmas for use in churches and schools. I was a trustee of one of the partners of the project, over ten years ago now, and I was most impressed by their creative treatment of the Christmas story and have used the material many times since.)
