It is with much regret that we must announce that this year our Bazaar will not be taking place.
We had hoped to hold the Bazaar in the Liebfrauenkirche Pfarrereizentrum on the 5th of December but after much discussion and evaluation of the current situation we’ve decided not to proceed.
Please don’t bring us ANY secondhand goods which you may have been thinking of donating to St Andrew’s for onward sale at the Bazaar. Thank you for considering us as recipients but we cannot accept any donations of clothes, flea market items of any kind, CDs or DVDs this year.
As you probably know, the Bazaar is usually an important source of income for St Andrew’s so we will be holding After Church Sales instead in the church garden on Sunday mornings following the 10.00 church service.
This coming Sunday, 25th October, Scones and Marmalade will be available so please come along and support this new venture of ours!
In the coming weeks we expect the following items to be on sale with (hopefully) some other additions as we go along:
Christmas Cards
Christmas Crafts
Greeting Cards
Groceries (including jam, marmalade and Christmas puddings amongst others)
We’ll be publishing a calendar of what will be sold when – so please keep checking back for news.
A big thank you goes to all of you who have shared your ideas about alternative and innovative ways of raising money for St Andrew’s; they’re very much appreciated and as soon as more news about other fund-raising events becomes available we’ll inform you.
Don’t forget to subscribe (use the form here: https://standrewszurich.church) to receive updates about all our activities as soon as they are published.
Did you really mean October 25′ This Sunday is the 18th. Thank you
Thank you for your message Carole. You’re right, the date of the first sale is the 18th. We corrected the information yesterday shortly after it was first published.
It’s good to know that people are reading the information and we thank you for your interest.
All best wishes
Ruth Bailey
