We’re all going on a summer holiday…

In a recent letter to Clergy, Readers and Churchwardens, Bishop Robert and Bishop David wrote that sustaining church life, whether virtually or in person is a demanding task, which requires patience and stamina. They gave strict instructions that we should all be sure to take a proper break during the summer.

With this in mind, Paul will be on holiday from Monday 3rd – Sunday 16th August inclusive.

Unfortunately, as a result of the coronavirus situation, it has not been possible to arrange for a locum to cover the Sunday services on the 9th and 16th August. The Wardens have discussed this with the Archdeacon and it has been agreed that there will be no service at St Andrew’s on these dates. However, Paul will produce Sunday Podcasts and daily prayers, to be posted in his absence and the links to Sunday worship on the Prayer and Worship page will give information about services elsewhere, both on-line and in person, which St Andrew’s members may wish to take part in.

During Paul’s absence, urgent queries can be directed to the Church Office.
