The postponed Annual Meeting is now planned for the 6th September, in the church after the 10 am service.
A condition for these meetings is that physical presence is required. Electoral Roll members will receive formal notice by post, nearer the time, as usual. The public papers for the noticeboard, this year, will be displayed by the entrance, as we are not currently gathering in the Community Centre. However, for those unable to attend church, the membership list and nomination forms will be emailed to Electoral Roll members. Updates of the nominations will also be sent by email.
We need to elect a new Churchwarden, two new Council members and four new Archdeaconry Synod representatives. The following links provide some more information about the roles.
If having read the information, you are still interested and would like to find out more about what these roles involve, do contact one of the current or former post holders for an informal chat!
Please give serious and prayerful thought to whether you, or somebody you know, would be willing and able to take on one of these roles. If you would like to nominate somebody, please check that they are prepared to undertake the commitment before submitting their names for nomination.
Candidates for these posts are put forward by members of the Electoral Roll. Candidates must also be members of the Electoral Roll themselves, in order to be nominated. Similarly, those who nominate and second them must be on the Electoral Roll.
