One hundred… and still going strong!

Today’s post is the hundredth one since starting the blog. How better to mark the occasion than to dig out one hundred interesting facts about Switzerland!

For example, did you know that Canada has a national park which is larger than Switzerland and that there is an island nearly the size of Switzerland at the mouth of the Amazon River? Or that Australia, Great Britain, and Switzerland are the only countries to send a team to every Olympic Games since their inception in 1896?

Perhaps you already knew that that Kim Jong Un studied in Bern with a fake identity, but it may come as a surprise to hear that the Swiss Army Knife corkscrew tool is not made in Switzerland but in Japan…
